How to use Snipping Tool
If you want to capture any thing on the Desktop the easiest way to capture is using SNIPPING TOOL.
By using Snipping tool you can capture any thing on the computer screen. You can capture part of screen are all of your screen.
In earlier version of windows there no such option called Snipping tool but from Windows 7, Windows 8,Windows 8.1 it was in built tool from Windows.
How to find Snipping tool in your system?
In windows 7
1) Start Menu --> Accessories --> Snipping Tool
2) Start Menu ---> Type the word Snipping tool in Search box
In Windows 8 & 8.1
Just click on the windows button and search it as Snipping Tool.
( If you want to search anything on Windows 8 & Windows 8.1 Just click on Windows symbol key on key board(2nd left key of Sapcebar) and type the App name your looking for)

The Snipping Tool window has three important buttons: New, Cancel and Options.
The New button allows you to select the type of screenshot that you want to take and then take a screenshot. The Cancel button allows you to cancel the current action. The Options button allows you to customize different aspects of the application.
How to take Customized Screen Shot
By sing Snipping Toll we can capture 4 types snips Those are,
Free-form Snip. Draw any shape around an object with your finger, mouse, or tablet pen.
Rectangular Snip. Drag the cursor around an object to form a rectangle.
Window Snip. Choose a window—like a browser window or a dialog box.
Full-screen Snip. Capture the entire screen.
How to capture a Snip
In Snipping Tool, tap or click the arrow next to the New button, choose the kind of snip you want, and then select the area of your screen that you want to capture. The snip is automatically copied to the Snipping Tool window.
How to Edit a Screenshot
This editing window offers useful tools for editing the capture you took. For example, if you are not satisfied with the quality of the picture you can always make a new one using New Snip button. Before saving your screenshot, you can use the Pen and Highlighter tools to add markup to the capture. The Eraser tool removes the marks made with the Pen and the Highlighter
Capture a snip of a menu
After you open Snipping Tool, open the menu that you want a picture of.
Press Ctrl+PrtScn.
Tap or click the arrow next to the New button, choose the kind of snip you want, and then pick the area of the screen that you want to capture.
Save a snip
After you capture a snip, tap or click the Save Snip button.
In the Save As dialog box, enter a file name, location, and file type, and then tap or click Save.
Remove the URL
When you capture a snip from a browser window and save it as an HTML file, the URL appears below the snip. To prevent the URL from showing up:
Tap or click Tools, and then tap or click Options.
In the Snipping Tools Options dialog box, clear the Include URL below snips (HTML only) check box, and then tap or click OK.
Share a snip
After you capture a snip, tap or click the arrow next to the Send Snip button, and then choose whether you’d like to send the snip in the body of your email or as an attachment.
